Ione Saldanha - O tempo e a cor / time and colour

No Museu Fundação Iberê Camargo, a exposição  O tempo e a Cor de Ione Saldanha, artista plástica gaúcha, por muito tempo radicada no Rio de Janeiro é um colírio para os olhos. "Ao combinar desenhos, estudos, pinturas e experimentação com ripas de madeiras, bambus, bobinas e empilhados - a mostra apresenta um recorte panorâmico da trajetória da artista".

At Fundação Iberê Camargo Museum, Ione Saldanha's exposition Time and colour is a sight for sore eyes. Paintings with oil, drawings, experiments with tempera  and acrylic on wood and reels are something to enjoy each minute spent at the Museum.

Domingo no Museu/Sunday at the Museum

Domingo ensolarado e quente para os padrões do inverno em Porto Alegre. Um bom passeio é visitar o Museu Fundação Iberê Camargo, à beira do rio Guaíba.
Três exposições nesta semana, "O outro"de  Iberê ,  "O tempo e a cor " de Ione Saldanha  e "Pinturas Cegas" de Tomie Ohtake .
Iniciamos pelo prédio, uma obra de arte por si só;  construído pelo famoso arquiteto português Álvaro Siza.



Sunny sunday afternoon.  Visit  Fundação Iberê Camargo Museum. Its building is a work of art by itself. Designed by the famous Portuguese architect Álvaro Siza, it is a must see in Porto Alegre.
Till August, there are three great expositions to visit: The Other in the Paintings of Iberê Camargo, Time and colour by Ione Saldanha and Blind Paintings by Tomie Ohtake.
We start our visit  by the building.

Évora (Portugal) desenvolveu-se ao redor do Templo Romano dedicado à Diana, construído no séc. II

Óbidos-Portugal

ÓBIDOS -um presente para as rainhas -

Uma das vilas medievais mais bem  conservadas de Portugal, cercada por muralhas pertencentes a um castelo do século XII , Óbidos encanta por suas ruas estreitas, seus monumentos, seu casario branco.Dizem que  no período compreendido entre os séculos XIII e XIV ela fazia parte dos dotes que os monarcas entregavam às suas esposas. Entre as construções mais bonitas,encontra-se a Igreja de Santa Maria ,  com suas paredes azulejadas ,cuja origem remonta à dominação visigótica .

ÓBIDOS : a gift to the Queens

A fortified village of whitewashed houses and narrow streets in a medieval atmosphere , Óbidos is considered the most well preserved village of that time in Portugal, with walls dating back to the xii century. It is said that during the xiii and xiv centuries  the village was given to the Queens of Portugal as a gift.  Among its building Santa Maria Church is a must see, with the characteristic Portuguese tiles whose origen dates back to the Visigod period.
