Anna Ancher é considerada uma das grandes pintoras dinamarquesas do século XIX. Assim como os impressionistas na França, ela preocupou-se muito com o jogo de luzes em suas pinturas. Famosa no grupo de pintores de Skagen, Ancher é tradicionalmente considerada integrante do movimento de Avanço Moderno ( Det moderne gennembrud) , movimento naturalista na Dinamarca do final do século XIX que celebra a ciência, sem tempo para a religião, substituindo o movimento romântico. 

Anna Ancher is considered one of the greatest Danish  artists  of the 19th century. Her work is well known by the way she painted light-filled depictions of rooms.  Famous as one of the artists of the Skagen group, 

she is traditionally regarded as part of the Modern Breakthrough movement ,which celebrated science and had no time for religion .

De Copenhagen a Lund por trem leva-se cerca de 40 minutos , uma viagem imperdível para se visitar a Catedral de Lund no centro histórico, construída em estilo romanesco no século 12, consagrada a São Laurentius em 1145. 

Uma das famosas atrações dentro da catedral o relógio medieval construído em 1425 (só existem três deles na Europa) que, além de mostrar as 24 horas ,também  tem  os signos do zodíaco  e um calendário de um dias da semana para um período de 200 anos. 

By train from Copenhagen to Lund (Sweden ) is about 40 minutes . A must do trip to visit this wonderfulUniversity City with its Romanesque Cathedral builtin the 12th century and consecrated to St. Laurentius in 1145. 

One of the most famous attractions within the Cathedral is the great astronomical clock created around 1425 that displays time on  a 24-hour dial, the zodiac signs and a calendar with weekdays and dates over a period of 200 years.
