Depois de fevereiro, 2020 foi um ano sem novidades para o Blog. A pandemia parou o mundo e não foi diferente para o Nosso Olhar. Ainda em quarentena, mostraremos lugares e recantos que deixaram de ser mostrados em nossas postagens.
Recomeçamos 2021 , então, com a Igreja da Santo Ignácio de Loyola. E ela é importante, interessante por quê?
Além de localizar-se em Roma , próxima ao Panteão , o que já é um atrativo por si só, a Igreja de Santo Ignácio de Loyola, construída no século XVI , consagrada em 1722 e lugar de repouso de santos jesuítas , se destaca artisticamente por seu estilo barroco e seu Domo falso. Pintado por Andrea Pozzo, seu efeito arquitetônico dá a impressão de profundidade , embora tenha sido pintado em uma estrutura plana.
After February 2020, Nosso Olhar stopped traveling due to the world pandemic. WE are still in quarantine, but decided to show some snippets of places we visited and were left out from our previous posts.
We restart with Saint Ignatius of Loyola Church in Rome. Built in the XVI century, and consecrated in 1772, where important Jesuit Saints are buried . But its Baroque artistic works is what called our attention. The church is famous by its fake Dome. The artist, Andrea Pozzo, created an optical illusion that gives the impression of an infinite space, although it is a flat structure .
