A doce Aveiro/ Sweet Aveiro- Portugal

Povoada desde o século X, quando se desenvolveu a exploração do sal, Aveiro é hoje considerada uma das melhores cidades para se viver em Portugal.  Chamada de Veneza portuguesa, encanta, também, por sua tradição na cerâmica, na azulejaria, na arquitetura e nos famosos doces conventuais, principalmente pelos famosos "ovos moles". Vale a pena visitá-la. De trem, fica a pouco mais de duas horas de Lisboa.



Aveiro is a city of Portugal perched on the edge of a lagoon called Ria de Aveiro. It is crossed by canals receiving the nickname of Venice of Portugal. It is also famous by its architecture , its ceramic tiles , called azulejos, porcelain factory and  candy, especially the sweet egg cream.
 Its origin dates back the 10th century when people started working in the salt mines . Aveiro is considered one of the best places to live in Portugal and easy to visit. Take a train in Lisbon and 2 hours and few minutes later you will be in this gem of Portugal.
