Inaugurado em 28 de setembro de 1914 após seis anos de construção, o Forte de Copacabana ainda preserva suas características originais. Além de estar localizado em um lugar especial em Copacabana - posto 6 - sua visita nos traz à memória fatos de uma história não tão distante, mas que se perde no tempo: a Revolta dos 18 do Forte.
Opened in 1914, the Copacabana Fort is a military base at the south end of Copacabana beach that still preserves its original characteristics, it houses the Army Historical Museum and is a remembrance of Brazil historical moments as the 18 of Copacabana Fort Revolt in 1922.
