Um bom passeio em Londres é ir de barco até Greenwich, onde se pode visitar a marcação do Meridiano, o Observatório Real, o Museu Nacional Marítimo , o Colégio Naval, Cutty Sark, entre outras atrações. Mas, antes disso, o próprio passeio de barco, saído de Westminster Pier, já é uma festa para os olhos: Londres vista de um outro ângulo.


A good choice in London is to go by boat  to Greenwich, home to the Meridian Line, Cutty Sark, the Royal Observatory, the National Maritime Museum, the Old Royal Naval College among other options. But even before arriving there, cruising the Thames is already a great way of seeing London by a different angle.

Prefeitura de Londres que abriga o gabinete do prefeito e a assembleia de Londres. Arquitetos : Norman Foster ( que também projetou a Ponte do Milênio) , Ken Shuttleworth and Max Neal .

City Hall is the headquarters of the Greater London Authority, which comprises the Mayor of London and the London Assembly. It is located in Southwark, on the south bank of the River Thames near Tower Bridge. Designed by architects Norman Foster ( who also designed the Millennium Bridge) , Ken Shuttleworth and Max Neal .

O monumento com uma ponta dourada, projetado por Christopher Wren (arquiteto da St. Paul Cathedral ) e Robert Hook entre 1672 1 1677,  é uma coluna de 62 metros de altura em estilo dórico , foi construído para marcar o local onde o Grande Fogo de Londres de 1666 iniciou.

The Monument to the Great Fire of London is a Doric column in the City of London, near the northern end of London Bridge, that commemorates the Great Fire of London of 1666. It was designed by Christopher Wren (St. Paul's Cathedral architect)and Robert Hook.

Blackfriars Bridge

As colunas vermelhas ao lado da ponte ferroviária  são remanescentes da anterior  que funcionou de 1864 a 1964.

Tower Bridge / A Ponte Torre

The Tower of London, a historic castle located on the north bank of the River Thames in central London famous for housing  the Crown Jewels and for the many times it served as a prison.
