With more than 700 years of history, Bilbao has a lot to offer : a vibrant modern architecture in contrast with Medieval streets - Las Siete Calles, which date from the 1400s. The Guggenheim Museum by the banks of Ría del Nervión (river Nervión), designed in Titanium by Canadian architect Frank Gehry; The Museo de Bellas Artes (Art Museum) that houses a collection from Gothic sculptures to 20th century pop-art, the Nevrión River, the Azkuna Zentro (cultural center designed by Phillips Starck, and charming streets with lots of bars and restaurants.
